Jason (CALIFORNIA) Eaton Truck I somewhat recently purchased this rear disc brake kit from you, and I am very pleased with how well it went together! It was straightforward as far as installation, I sourced my own parking brake calipers...If I had to do over again, I would probably just buy yours, as I still haven't gotten around to fabricating a parking brake attachment point. In the process of converting my old drums to discs though, I did change up the procedure a little bit. Instead of re using the old 1/2-20 lug studs, I opted to buy all brand new Metric studs and nuts, from Dorman. I bought them 40mm longer than stock (For a 2000, or 2001 and later 2500 pickup) Obviously, the studs would not fit the hub, without some modification, So I went to a local hardware store, and picked up the correct drill bit. In this case, 39/64ths. I set this all up in my drill press at home, and drilled both factory iron hubs, to the new oversize stud dimension. (The drill bit that I obtained gave about .010 interference with the stud) I then continued the installation as originally intended. From there, I pressed the new studs in (which, turned out to be about perfect for the rotor as well, without the need for spacers) This let me mount the newer style Chevrolet 2500 HD wheels, WITH the center caps. I have seen these wheels on the older trucks before, but it always bugged me that no one ever used the center caps. It might have taken a little more time to do, (I would have been done inside of 3 hours) if I hadn't drilled the hubs, but I much prefer the end result. I'm not sure if you want to mention how to modify the original hubs on your website, but I would at least pass the information, as well as a few pictures, along. Thanks again, for a great product!

Jim (MINNESOTA) 46 Dodge "All the caliper bracket bolts could be turned around and would clear the rotors just fine. You have a mighty fine finished product there, made with super craftsmanship and machining, I will tell everyone that will listen to me to contact you for their drum to disc conversions kits."
Paul (NEW MEXICO) Mustang "I have installed lots of disk brake kits and this one is very user friendly and inexpensive, especially for 5 on 5.5 wheel lugs... also the brackets are nicely done with precision and powder coat....."
Ricco (PENNSYLVANIA) Jeep "Thank you for all your help you were right there was air trapped in a high spot of the brake lines we gravity bled for a long time and no air then we pedal bled got some air and gravity bled till the air stopped. Brakes work fine now."
Donovan (UTAH) 1996 Bronco "The rear disc conversion kit was far and above what I had in mind, I was a little nervous about the park brake part of it but with the pieces that came with the kit I was able to adapt it with very little trouble at all, my 1996 Bronco has never had better brakes and this kit it top notch. Thanks for the great customer service and support too."
Derek (CANADA) "Here is some pics of my car almost completed with your rear disc kit. There not the best pics but it's cold out here and I wanted to get some quick shots. They are on the car and work good."
Richard (NORTH CAROLINA) Jeep CJ7 "Hi there, I was just on your site again and thought I would send you some pics of my CJ7 that I put you brakes on last year. I was very pleased with your kit and your service, I race and show my Jeep and the brakes did great this past year. Thanks for your help"
Al (NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA) Challenger "After looking into all the rear disc brake kits on the market today, I settled on Streetrod Manufacturing because replacement parts (rotors & calipers) can be purchased locally and the kit is over a hundred bucks cheaper than the others. All Parts fit great making it a snap to install. Thanks!"
Kevin (ALBANY, NY) 1996 Chevrolet C1500 Full Size Pickup "It took a lot of messing around with OTHER brake kits to find out that cheap imitators just don't work! I have to say I was VERY pleased with the kit I received from TSM! I've been toying with putting rear disc brakes on my truck for about a year now and did a lot of research on it. I tried doing it all myself and relying on brackets made by others and using store bought rotors from other cars. In the end, nothing ended up working and it cost me much more time, energy, and money that it was worth. The TSM kit just bolted on the first time and worked!"
Donald (CALIFORNIA) 57 Chevrolet
"Attached is picture of your Pinion Mounted Park Brake as adapted to a 57 Chevrolet under construction.... Thanks for the product."
Rick (MICHIGAN) Streamliner Watts Linkage
Ron (NEW MEXICO) 31 Ford Parking Brake
Shawn (NEBRASKA) 29 Ford Roadster Parking Brake
Steve (COLORADO) Toyota FJ60 Split Transfer Case Disc Park Brake "The brake held on a 20% incline where a good, stock brake let an identical truck roll backwards."
Mike & Lance (MASSACHUSETTS) 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Mike's Comments: "My friend and I recently purchased two Ford rotors and the small GM calipers to convert a 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud over from dual wheel cylinder front drum brakes with no means of shoe adjustment to Disc’s. I wanted to let you guy’s know that the job came out excellent with the parts purchased from TSMMFG. I have attached a few photos for your viewing. The quality of the components purchased is excellent and we are very happy and so is the guy who owns the car. We measured everything out and then manufactured our own brackets to mount to the spindle out of 3/8” plate. The calipers were slightly modified to connect a 90° banjo fitting to keep the line close to the backside of the caliper and away from the frame when turning. Thanks for the catalog!" Joseph (NEW JERSEY) Project Jeep Rolls 2001 Toyota Tacoma Jason's Comments: "We recently finished a project in which we used your
mechanical parking brake. The setup worked out very well. It is a 2001 Toyota
Tacoma with 24" of lift. The suspension
is a 3 link design
with coil over race shocks designed and built by Kat Kustoms, C. It runs on
46" Mickey Thompson tires.
David (GUAM) 1997 - 2004 Dakota Pickup David's Comments: "The brakes work great, truck stops on a dime with front and rear disks. The difference from rear drums is amazing, stops like my wifes Infinity now". 2552 Conversion Kit with parking brake calipers and braided lines.
Daryl (OKLAHOMA) Chevy Truck Daryl writes: "The brakes work great. The pickup stops better and handles better and I didn't have my rear brakes locking up on me when I apply the brakes, compared to the drum brakes."
Richard Rear Brake Kit, Ford '64 Galaxie Richard writes: "I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with quality of your kit. The fit was extraordinary. I wish you made the front brackets to fit the stock spindles as well. The ones I have installed worked out good but were not as precisely fitting especially in the caliper position as yours."
